The Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc.

SUPPORTING BREED EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

THROUGH PHILANTHROPY

Our Purpose

The Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc., was formed in 2015 by a group of  benefactors who wished to provide a means for other enthusiasts of the Epagneul Breton breed to fund educational, scientific, and charitable projects related to the breed.

The basic purpose of the foundation is to educate the public and breed supporters about the Epagneul Breton, a breed of pointing dog developed in the Province of Bretagne, France, beginning in approximately 1907. Such educational efforts are focused in the United States where the foundation is organized, but the content and work product of the foundation are shared in other countries. In addition, The Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc., supports scientific research and study to promote breed health and engages in charitable activities which support the Epagneul Breton.

The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees who oversee the operations and projects supported by the foundation, and who do not receive compensation for carrying out their duties.

The Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc., is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation without members, incorporated under the laws of the State of Montana. It is in the process of applying for designation of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States. See Legal documents for more information about the status of the organization.
