Sherry Niesar added to Wall of Honor

A generous donation was recently made to the Foundation in honor of Sherry Niesar, a long-time supporter of the Epagneul Breton in the United States. Among her contributions, Sherry has served on the board of directors of the Club de l'Epagneul Breton of the United States and the Big Sky Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club. She has been an honorary field trial judge at UKC (United Kennel Club) events across the country for several years. Her numerous contributions in many capacities over the years working at regional and national events is valued and appreciated by many. The Foundation congratulates and thanks Sherry for her dedication to the breed. Her name has been added to the Wall of Honor.

Guy de la Valdéne, 79, noted author, conservationist and Epagneul Breton enthusiast passed away in April 2023. Guy was born in New York City in 1944, but was reared in Normandy, France in a small Castle built in 1642.  He was a quiet but devoted supporter of the Epagneul Breton who helped promote the breed in the United States and often hosted field trials and events at his estate in Florida.
