SUPPORTING BREED EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

THROUGH PHILANTHROPY

Foundation Focus on Education

A principal mission and purpose of the Epagneul Breton Foundation is to promote general breed education to the breed constituency and general public about the Epagneul Breton. In this regard, the Foundation has developed, administers and maintains a repository of much of the vital information which has been written and is collected about the Epagneul Breton breed. For those interested in research or more in-depth study, see the Bibliography, which lists a majority of authoritative sources and references about the Epagneul Breton.

The most recent educational article is "A Brief History of the Epagneul Breton in Italy."

Featured Art "Moose" (Bronze by Larry Costigan)

This bronze sculpture entitled “Moose” was created and produced by artist and sculptor Larry Costigan of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The piece was produced during 2021, with the model for the piece being a male Epagneul Breton by the call name of “Moose.” The subject Epagneul Breton, whose registered name is CHF-L Maxime Confesseur de la Trinite TAN WRT, is owned by Josh Ruiter, who commissioned the bronze sculpture based on a favorite photograph taken of Moose on point during a hunt.

The Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc., displays artwork in its gallery to inform enthusiasts of the breed about historic and contemporary art and artists. Pieces of art are featured periodically and then displayed in the online gallery.

Thank you!
