Volunteer Karin Lee-Fournier recognized for contribution
(January 2019) — The Joyce Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund received a nice infusion from donations received from the production of the 2019 Epagneul Breton Calendar. CEB-US Member Karin Lee-Fournier was inspired when she received a fundraising communication sent out earlier this fall by the Scholarship Fundraising Committee led by former scholarship recipients. She came up with the idea of producing a 2019 Epagneul Breton calendar and donating all profits from sales of the calendar to the scholarship fund which is managed by the foundation. Karin received an enthusiastic response, both in terms of potential photographs for use, as well as commitments to purchase the calendar. Karin’s efforts to support the foundation work is recognized on the Foundation web site's Volunteers page with gratitude for her ingenuity, her exceptional generosity with her time and talents, and for her generous use of her skills and talents as a Foundation Volunteer. Special thanks is also extended to photographer Jimmy Cobb for his generous assistance.
