Honorary Trustees named as advisors
(March 11, 2016) - At the March meeting of the Foundation board of trustees held in Muscatine, Iowa, the board elected and approved four Honorary Trustees to the Class of 2016 who will serve as informal advisors to the foundation. They are Jacques-François Bordet of Aunac, France; Henri Xavier Guélou of Ploumagoar, France; Pieter Rooijakkers of Elp, the Netherlands; and William Secord of New York, New York. Each of these gentlemen has made unique contributions to the development of the Epagneu Breton in the United States, and to education about the breed and estabilshment of the Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc. The board of trustees is grateful to each of them for their past and anticipated future counsel and informal assistance with regard to the educational mission of the Epagneul Breton Foundation.

(March 2016) - One of the ways to support the work of The Epagneul Breton Foundation is through donations given in a person’s honor. The foundation was pleased to receive its first such significant gift from Mr. Forrest “Bud” Ward and Mr. Larry Kimbler from Texas. They made a generous $500 donation in honor and appreciation of R. L. Dalrymple, with whom they enjoyed a great quail hunt during the 2015 season on the Dalrymple farm in Thomas, Oklahoma. R. L. has served as president and is a founding member of CEB-US, the Club de L’Epagneul Breton of the United States, and has been a devoted breeder, hunter and enthusiast of the Epagneul Breton since the early 1980s.
Foundation features sculpture by artist Joep Rooijakkers
(March 2016) - The second work of art to be featured on the Epagneul Breton Foundation's web site is a bronze sculpture of an Epagneul Breton at full gallop, by Dutch sculptor Joep Rooijakkers. See Featured Art for more information about this piece of art and the artist.
A major focus of The Epagneul Breton Foundation, Inc., is to promote the arts as related to the Epagneul Breton.
